I am very disappointed with my experience.
I am very disappointed with my experience. My car stayed in this service center for four months, and when it was returned to me, it still has electronic issues. To this day, I do not know what the exact problem was or what the dealership actually did to fix it. I tried to contact the dealership but no responds. I regret buying a Chevrolet and do not recommend these cars to anyone due to poor reliability and unprofessional service.

Dear Dr. Dujaili, Thank you for letting me know of your frustration with the length of time it has taken to resolve the issues with your vehicle and for the lack of a response from my team. The issues are independent, but they sound related. August 2025 β You brought your vehicle to us for a bad battery. We replaced your battery which, at the time, failed the battery load test. You left, and the vehicle operated fine. September 2025 β You brought your vehicle to us for what looked like a bad battery; however, upon inspection it was a bad telematics module which caused a draw on your battery and consequently drained your battery. The Telematics module was on backorder with the manufacturer, and we were able to provide you with a loaner vehicle. September 2025 β Shortly after you picked up your vehicle from your previous repair order, dashboard warning lights came on, and you returned. We put you back in a loaner vehicle while we diagnosed the issue. We replaced your forward collision camera, cooling fan, valve adjusters, performed work on a GM Bulletin injector issue, and installed a computer update which corrected the outstanding issues. Your 2025 Chevy Equinox should not have had these issues at this early age. Reviewing the notes on your repair orders, while the length of time your vehicle was in our service center was long, my team did everything they could do to assess its ailments, to work with the manufacturer and suppliers to get you a proper diagnosis and resolution, they placed you in a loaner vehicle to minimize inconvenience, and they refused to return you the vehicle until all the issues were resolved. These are all actions of a world-class dealership. I hope you will reconsider this negative review of East Hills Chevrolet. Disappointing Experience with East Hills Chevrolet
Disappointing Experience with East Hills Chevrolet Service Department I am compelled to share my frustrating experience with the East Hills Chevrolet Service Department, which spanned from May 2025 to late June 2025. I took my 2018 Suburban to them due to a recurring issue where the vehicle would shut off after driving for approximately 30 minutes. First Visit (May 2025): The service team incorrectly diagnosed the problem, claiming that the entire electrical system needed rewiring. This "solution" cost me $1,088.75, and they kept my vehicle for a week. Unfortunately, within 24 hours of bringing my Suburban home, the same shut-off issue occurred again. Second Visit: I returned to East Hills, and this time they claimed to have made minor modifications, such as cleaning connection points around the battery. They kept my vehicle for 10 days, yet the problem persisted within 24 hours of returning home. Third Visit: On my third visit, the service team promised that a seasoned mechanic would evaluate my vehicle. They then diagnosed the issue as needing a new Transmission Control Module (TCM), costing an additional $1,500. Despite my dissatisfaction with the new diagnosis, I agreed to the repair. However, days later, they informed me that my Suburban required a new transmission, costing a staggering $6,500. Throughout nearly two months, East Hills Chevrolet Service Department misdiagnosed the issue, charged me for ineffective repairs, and failed to resolve the shut-off problem. I requested a refund of the $1,088, but the service manager, Eric, promised to call me back and never did, despite my multiple follow-ups. I eventually took my vehicle elsewhere for repair. During my ordeal, I dealt with Manny (service assistant), Laura (loaner car department), and Eric (service manager), none of whom provided satisfactory assistance or communication. I strongly advise against trusting East Hills Chevrolet Service Department with your vehicle. My experience was a costly and time-consuming disappointment.
