I took my car in to get an oil leak looked at, and have them see if I had coolant in my oil. They diagnosed and fixed my oil filter housing. That night I drove the car less than 10 miles and smoke poured out from under the hood and coolant poured out from an area next to the fixed part. Took them 4 days to tow my car and get it looked at again. Found a pinched gasket from the previous repair. They fixed that. Drove my car the next day. Parked it, and noticed coolant leaking from my car again. Took them 2 more days to tow it and told me it would be an additional cost to fix. Still waiting to get my car back. This has gone on for 12 days now.

I did not buy my truck from this dealer but it is the closest one I live too. Brand new truck (2024 Silverado) started to leak oil within 4,000 miles and having camera issues. I called the dealer I bought it from and they pushed my appointment back on me twice so I decided to call Jim Ternary of Troy. They were happy to get my vehicle in and they did not say that it has to be diagnosed before I get a rental over the phone. The next day I get a call that my truck is ready to be picked up. Thought that was fast and asked "What did you have to fix?" they responded that they will have to talk to me. When I arrived they told me that the oil pan was on backorder and that they wanted me to keep driving the truck. A brand new truck that I just purchased leaking oil and cameras not working. When I asked if I go on a trip and it runs out of oil while driving it and it blows up what would happen. Blake replied with that would most likely be covered but couldn't tell me 100%. When I told him that was unacceptable he told me that is the GM way. I had to call Corp # to talk to a manager and told me that is not the GM way. So my truck was gone for a month and a half and the 2nd day I got it back the cameras still didn't work. Dropped it off the following Monday and they replaced the modular. Picked it up Tuesday to have the next day still not working properly. They told me it is now a software issues and they would get back to me and that was months ago with no response.

I brought my 2015 Malibu in for a check engine light and
I brought my 2015 Malibu in for a check engine light and to do other maintenance services. When I picked up the car the check engine light was off however there was a soda bottle left from the mechanic in the car and on my way home, I could see the new wiper blades had not been connected properly. I took photos and corrected. Within a few days I had an issue of when the car start stop feature was activated my radio and other electronic parts would go off for 3-5 seconds and return back on. I DID NOT have this problem when I took it to Ternary and the check engine light came back on. I returned it to Ternary and they said I had electrical issues and they needed to be fixed. One issue they said was my battery. I said my battery is less than 3 months old. They insisted it was bad. After weeks in the shop and thousands of dollars spent again, they said they fixed it. I pick it up and within a few days I had the exact same problem that I spent thousands of dollars again and my back seat was stained and bent up and not attached, I returned it and a day or so later they said they fixed it BUT the Same PROBLEM happened to THEM while TESTING! They said I should get a trickle charge which is ludicrous. The car has been sabotaged or a very incompetent repairmen with no knowledge of car repair worked on my car. I have been lied to and provided with incompetent service which the service manager agreed and said he has no decent mechanics. This car was a memorial to my deceased wife, she use to drive it and us together. It was always garaged and exceptionally taken care of. This fiasco has cost me about 4500.00-5000.00 of money not well spent, abuse of my customer trusts and extreme emotion mental and heart ache. I mentally could not deal with this anymore and I know there is a plethora of other things not performed correctly yet to show up. These are just a few that I incidentally found. I have pictures and a video. I contacted the Attorney General and the GM of Trenary which I never met said things I said that were not true about me. I have purchased a new car elsewhere form ELCO and I am asking to be refunded for carelessly destroying a great car or a simple apology admitting their fiasco of mistakes. I tried to talk to Trenary himself but no return call. I think he is a good guy and doesn't know the type of staff he employs.
