Very Poor Service

We’ve had a month long series of frustrations with the service department. I scheduled an oil change for Sept. 2nd, and then got an email saying the appointment was a half hour earlier than I set it for. I called to verify which time was accurate, and was told they already had “a guy with seven cars” to service that morning, but we could still come in if we had to. We had an appointment. So we brought it in. Service was completed, and then we were told we had a crack in the axle boot on the left side. I asked if they could take care of it, but they said it would take awhile to get the part. So we scheduled an appointment for Tues. Sept. 14th. We brought it in at the scheduled time, 1pm, but received a call later saying they had sent the right side boot, not the left, and they weren’t interchangeable. The correct part would be in the next day. Wednesday at 4:30 I hadn’t heard anything, so I called. I was told again the same story about the wrong part, and it would be “tomorrow.” I asked if this was the wrong part again, or the same story from yesterday, but they didn’t know. I asked what time the next day it might be ready. I was told it would be done by 11:00 on Thursday. Again, at 4:30 on Thursday I called. I was told the person in charge of our “ticket” wasn’t there to know what was happening, but it looked like it hadn’t been fixed yet. I told them that after 3 days, we needed our car back in order for my wife to be in Springfield the next day. When I picked it up, I was told they would call us when the correct part finally came in. Here it is the 29th of September, and we still haven’t heard back. This is extremely poor customer service, poor communication, etc. Suffice to say that even though we purchased the vehicle here, we will not be making use of Marshfield Chevrolet’s service department in the future.

Fluid change customer

I usually get my oil changed at Marshfield Chevrolet, but this time added the transmission fluid to the bill. The service was completed in the usual time, 1-1.5 hours, and the price was reasonable. The facilities are nice, and people are friendly. The only issue I have is the online booking tool has failed me twice and not confirmed my appointment. If you don't get a confirmation email, try again.
