I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change on my
I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change on my car. I arrived on time, but my car was not even taken to the mechanic for an hour. In all it took over 3 hours for my scheduled oil change. I spoke with other customers in the lobby and found they had spent nearly 4 hours waiting for their oil change. This is not acceptable. I was extremely disappointed with the service. I had no explanation of why it took so long other than a hasty accusation of it being difficult to get to all the filters in my car. I have a Buick, which is a General Motors vehicle. It should not be difficult for a General Motors mechanic to change the filters on my vehicle, and they left dark greasy handprints all over the hood of my white car. It should be common courtesy to either alert me at my arrival or to call before my appointment and tell me that they are having some kind of delay and allow me the decision to either endure the wait or reschedule. To me this is disrespectful.
