I brought my car in for a scheduled service appointment that was supposed to take 1.5 hours. After waiting for 2 hours, I checked in with the front desk, only to be told that they had completely forgotten to bring my car into the service bay. Nobody had realized nor communicated the delay. Because I had to leave to pick up my kids, I was offered a courtesy vehicle?which I appreciated?but the condition of the loaner was unacceptable. It was dirty, with what looked like old ice cream smeared on the gear shifter and a used air freshener tossed on the floor. What was supposed to be a quick and simple appointment ended up taking up the better part of my day, and the lack of communication and attention to detail was frustrating. I understand that mistakes happen, but the way this was handled?from the delay to the condition of the loaner vehicle?was disappointing and not reflective of the level of service I expected.
