Louisiana is a little different from other states, as it’s been home to the French, the Spanish, and many others. This caused the state to become a big melting pot for all of these different cultures. The result is beautiful architecture, amazing festivals, and some of the best food that you’ll find in the country. If you’re new to the state, then it’s highly recommended that you get your hands on as much local food as possible. There are a lot of dishes that you’ll only really be able to find here, like jambalaya, gumbo, beignets, red beans and rice, crawfish, and more. If you already have the keys to your next Chevrolet model, then you can start your adventure by checking out spots like Cafe Du Monde, Dragos, or any of the local restaurants. You should also take a look at your calendar, as there’s almost always a festival going on somewhere in the state.
