Service Department is a joke

I dropped my truck off with Calvin on Wednesday morning at 8am and he said I should have my truck back that afternoon. Once 5:30pm rolled around and I haven't heard from him yet I called and he would not answer. I called again and talked to the operator and she said she would email Calvin and he would call me back. I never heard from him. I called back again and they said my truck was gonna have to stay over night. Calvin NEVER communicated with me. I called back Thursday in the morning and let them know I was going on vacation Saturday and was supposed to be taking my truck. They said they would relay that message back to Calvin. He called about 2 hours later and said they needed a specific part and it was going to come from Mississippi. He said they would get it Friday morning around 7:30am and I would have my truck back by noon on Friday. I called back on Friday around noon and nobody could get a hold of Calvin. Finally someone talked to Calvin and he said to tell me that he is busy and has other customers to help beside me. Not the answer I was hoping for. I drove up to the dealership that afternoon expecting to pick up my truck and spoke with Calvin. He said they haven't even touched my truck bc they were busy working on other trucks. He then said my truck would not be ready until Monday. I had to make other plans and arrangements for transportation to go on vacation with my family. On Monday my truck was still not ready and was pushed to Tuesday. I got a call from Calvin saying my truck was ready on Tuesday. With all this being said, communication could have changed everything, but Calvin said he was busy and shorthanded. Whether its getting my oil changed, or having service done to my truck, this department is a nightmare. This will be the last time I use this place. I highly do not recommend using the service department at the Ross Downing in Gonzales, LA .

Rude and disrespectful

I found the truck that I wanted through the GMC website and it was in transit to your dealership. I called and was put in contact with a sales lady and she said that it was coming in the next day. I explained that I lived a couple hours away and wanted the truck and wanted to put a deposit on it and I?d be there the next morning. I was told ?Deposits won?t buy this truck. Only a signature buys our trucks?. Luckily I got there the next day when I did because someone else showed up just after me and said he was going to buy it if I wasn?t. I asked a few questions about operating the gadgets on the truck and was told ?it?s in the book? and ?you?ll figure it out?. I repeatedly was talked over when asking questions and couldn?t finish a question, and I?d have to repeatedly as the question because she wouldn?t let me finish talking and she wasn?t answering what I was asking. She also repeatedly did this to the Onstar assistant while the assistant was trying to tell me the details on the plan and how it worked. It got to the point where I had to tell her to let the assistant finish because I couldn?t hear when both of them were talking at the same time. I left the dealership with the truck I wanted and I love the vehicle, but I?m having to figure out. The good part was the financing aspect. Jeff was very helpful in explaining everything and answering my questions and concerns.
