I have purchased two cars from Team Chevrolet. One used (2016) and one new (2019). I found out that they lied to me when they sold me the used car so I logged a complaint with Dave Brubaker, the general manager. As a result have been told that I am no longer welcome there and they will no longer service my vehicles. If you are planning to buy a Chey stay away from Team Chevrolet.

I have been buying new and used vehicles for close to 50 years now. I went to Team Chevy in Valparaiso to check out a 2013 Ram 1500. That’s when I met Christian, a very professional and personable salesman.
I ended up buying that 2013 Ram 1500. When I got the truck home I noticed the driver’s side mirror light wasn’t working. When I went back to Team Chevy to take them the tittle to my trade in, I mentioned the light not working. They called a mechanic over and he popped out the light fixture, checked it out and said they would have to order a new one.
Two days later they called me and said the new light was in ($120 online price). When they were putting in the new light, I mentioned to Christian I had found a small rust spot (when I washed the truck) on the tail gate. I didn’t notice it when I bought it, because the truck is brown and so is the rust spot.
Christian took a photo of the tail gate and said he would let his manager know about it.
I got a text from Christian to bring the truck back in so they could go over the truck again and fix the tail gate (I got an estimate from a local body shop in Chesterton, they said to fix the tail gate would be $620). They gave me a 2020 Blazer to use for the 6 days that they had my truck.
I picked the truck up and their body shop did an amazing job on the tail gate. They also did an alignment on the truck.
I have never received this kind of service from a car dealer. After all the truck is 7 years old.
I highly recommend Team Chevy in Valparaiso. And when you stop in ask for Christian

We have purchased two cars from them and have been very pleased with them both. The customer service was excellent both times! Micheal Thiele was amazimg to work with!
