If a lower review was available I would have put it in. Recently my Chevy Equinox broke down on I-95 by St. Marys. I had it towed to Bennett Chevrolet. WORST mistake I have ever made. I was 4 hours away from where I live and after conducting a check on TUESDAY, the service manager, Andy Bob, told me "good news and bad news. The bad news it is the water pump, the good news is we have one in stock and it could be done by the next afternoon - Wed." I told him okay and proceeded to go to Enterprise and rent a car. I also told him my days off are Tues and Thurs and I would drive up on Thurs to pick it up. "Definitely will be done by then" he said. I called then Wed afternoon. At this point he said "we just got the part in and he will work on it after lunch". What? He told me the part was in stock but okay. No word so I called back on Thurs. SAME answer. "Oh the mechanic is just starting to work on it, definitely should be done this afternoon". No word that day. I called Friday morning and he said the mechanic JUST started working on it and it will be done this afternoon. At this point my husband called Friday afternoon as again we had not heard anything. This Andy Bob told him at THAT point that he pulled the mechanics off my car because he had seven cars in front of him and it wasn't even close to being finished. I then had to extend my rental yet again. By Monday my husband was furious and left at 4am to drive up there. This Andy Bob then told him it hadn't been worked on. Well my husband, having driven hours up there said he's not leaving. They THEN informed him it hadn't been worked on AT ALL and they could complete by noon. He was then informed at noon that it wouldn't be done until 3pm. My husband was flabbergasted. He was THEN informed at 3:30 they had put it in without adjusting the timing belt accurately and would have to do it AGAIN. They then offered him a RENTAL CAR because they didn't think it would be done before they closed!!!!! "Oh you expect me to drive 4 hours back home and then take another day off tomorrow and drive 4 hours back to pick up the car IF and WHEN it gets done and then turn around and drive 4 hours back home?! " xxxxx unbelievable!! I have never in my life had to deal with such an unorganized, imbecilic group of people in my life. I deal with the Chevrolet dealership where we live and have for the last 20 years gotten wonderful service, great managers who COMMUNICATE honestly and amazing customer service. At one point before all this happened I honestly thought about purchasing a new vehicle from Bennett but I would NEVER go back and NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

If a lower review were possible I would have used it. I recommend staying far away from this place. Took a truck in by tow truck for a oil pressure code, got a repair done that may or may not have been needed and told you have some oil pressure issues you need to have looked at when you get home, 500 miles away. An hour later the motor starts knocking and loosing power. Then after asking the service manager to speak to a general manager or owner he claims "the buck stops with him". Spoke to another manager in sales? He was supposed to get the owner back in touch but has gone radio silent. They even put it on the paperwork to drive the truck with an oiling issue.
