Angry over lies

Reviewed by K Plowman from Okeechobee FlNovember 27, 2020

Had an appointment 8am dropped off for 6 hour repair. Did not hear from them called they said will call back representative away from desk. Did not call back. I called again said representative was out. I asked for manager she found the representative. She wasn’t to far from the desk I guess. I was told they had already started would be ready in the morning. We got a ride up to see about the car, car was not even touched. Had not bee started at 11:30 next day. I had told them I needed car back as I had parent with dementia and we took her for ride to settle her down. We brought car home because if they lie about getting started on it they would lie about other items. Was considering another vehicle but won’t be from there. So mad can’t see straight they had always been a great place to do business. I would have it serviced here instead of Ky because they did a great job but no more! I lost three days of our vacation over this now almost time to go home and car not repaired and time lost. Would not give one star right now but the lowest I could go!

I bought a 2018 Chevy Van 3500. Had less than 1month and it got totaled. The ball joint went out on it the best we can tell. I turned to left and when I tried to straighten up the steering wheel would not turn was locked or something it would not turn back I slide across 2 lanes of traffic and hit the cement wall and totaled out the Van I contacted Gilbert Chevolet in Okeechobee Fl. They told me that it was certified and had 172 points of inspection. I told them that evidently someone didn't do their job.because I can't see if it was inspected how they missed a worn ball joint. Personally I'll never buy from them again. To me certified means nothing wrong and I'm safe driving it. Well let me tell you I'm still hurting from the accident and they wanted to sale me another vehical. NO THANK YOU I CANNOT TRUST THAT YOUR MECHANICS WILL DO THEIR JOB AND ISN'T ANYWAY I'LL TRUST YOUR DEALERSHIP AGAIN YOU HAVE LOST ME AS A COUSTOMER. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AND IF YOU DO TAKE TO A TRUSTED MECHANIC.AND HAVE IT GONE OVER DON'T TRUST THEM I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY.
