Service did not meet my expectations smh..

I went to get my 2006 chevy Tahoe service here for a radiator fluid drain and refill and they did not meet my expectations . Picked up my tahoe there was coolant on top of the battery. The coolant reservoir was over filled by alot smh. My oil sensor guage was working when I brought the vehicle in. When I picked it up the oil pressure gauge was at 80 at idle. I don't know if they were doing something to my tahoe to bring it back and get more money out of me . I went to this dealership because of good reviews but reviews dont mean that you're going to get great service as well I learned today not to base company thru they're reviews. I will no longer bring my tahoe to this dealership. Even tho is so convenient for me being 7 min away from my house forget about it! I can't believe I spent $155 of my hard earn money to get a xxxxty job done to my tahoe! I very upset! Hope everyone that brings their car here gets better service than I did.

Jan F Thanks for your feedback. As Mark discussed with you, we fill the coolant reservoir above the line, so that when the system "burps" (air removed from system) the coolant level will drop down to the appropriate level. However, if you want we can remove some coolant from the reservoir. The service that was performed on your 2006 Tahoe is not associated with the oil pressure gauge. The service person excepted my car but did tell me they were busy. I was quoted $125 to begin with, I then received a call around 3 pm saying it was a battery issue and the cost would be about $375. I was stunned but this is my only source of transportation and it was late in the day. I paid and then later that night realized I had a coupon from Chevrolet. I went the next day to see if they would apply the coupon and was told no by the cashier. I called the manager who also said no. I have spoken to other dealerships and people who were shocked and outraged that to replace a battery was $375 and then to not apply the coupon when asked the very next day was gouging and poor customer service. I feel Chevrolet should not only review pricing but teach customer service skills as I got the clear impression I was being blown off. It's a shame because I bought my car there and have used the service department as well. This is not the first time I gave a negative review and still no changes which tells me I should look for another provider.

As you know, when the vehicle arrived, we did not know what was causing your issue and had to diagnose the problem. As we communicated, there is a fee for diagnosis. Upon diagnosing, we communicated the price of the battery and the additional cost to install the battery. We received your approval before proceeding with the repair. As it relates to coupons, we are happy to accept coupons, however, we ask that coupons be presented at the time of write up/repair authorization. This is printed on all coupons and is posted in our service department. Thank you for your business and taking the time to give us a review.
