The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV is a subcompact, all-electric hatchback that seats five passengers. This year, it receives a mid-cycle refresh that include a new exterior design, a new interior instrument panel and vehicle controls, and standard DC fast charging. Inside, standard features include a new 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility, cruise control, and remote keyless entry and start. Maximum cargo capacity is 56.6 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.
Two trims are available: 1LT and 2LT.
It is driven by a 200-hp, electric motor and 65kWh Lithium-ion battery mated to a single-speed automatic transmission. It has an EPA-estimated rating of 127/108 MPGe city/highway, while its total electric range on a full charge is an estimated 259 miles.
