Should I Buy the 2024 Cadillac XT5?
The Cadillac XT5 does many things well, but the competition is fierce and time marches on in the hotly contested luxury SUV market. In terms of value and driving comfort, the XT5 earns praise. Neither the turbo four-cylinder nor the optional V-6 delivers dazzling performance, but each is reasonable in terms of fuel economy, and the V-6 runs on regular gasoline. A quiet ride and comfortable suspension give the XT5 a relaxed air, though its handling sharpness and acceleration trail much of the competition. It does, however, offer plenty of storage space: The trunk is large, and there are lots of nooks and crannies throughout the interior. Still, the XT5 no longer has the level of poise and polish found in nearly all its direct rivals.
