This car is BEAUTIFUL and has everything I could ask for! Power seats, windows, steering wheel, and back hatch. Factory remote start, panoramic sun roof, leather interior, heated seats and steering wheel, touch screen navigation, BT capability, Bose sound system, and many other things! It's simply amazing!

So far car is comfortable and has many technical features. I will enjoy driving it. It handles well on turns and the ride is smooth. Quiet inside as well.

I’m looking forward to hitting the road this summer. With my 2017 Cadillac XT5 I know the experience will be wonderful!! My favorite feature is the remote start. I also enjoy the CUE system. There are so many wonderful features, it is difficult to name them all.

2017 Cadillac XT5 Overview

The 2017 Cadillac XT5 is an all-new, luxury compact SUV that seats 5 passengers. It replaces the outgoing SRX model. It competes with the Lexus RX 350, Volvo XC90, and Lincoln MKX.

Four trims are available: the base model, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum.

Overall, the XT5 is lighter and slightly smaller than the SRX, but it has a 2-inch longer wheelbase for better stability. Although it adorns the big chrome grille found on other Cadillacs, the XT5 has smaller, vertical headlights that stretch down to the lower air vents. The long, clean body lines of the XT5 give it a sleek appearance. Standard features include LED daytime running lights, power/heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, a dual-pipe exhaust system, and 18-inch wheels. LED headlights, a power moonroof, a hand-free liftgate, adaptive suspension, and 20-inch wheels are available as well.

Under the hood, all XT5 trims are powered by a new 310-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and front- (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The XT5 utilizes a “twin-clutch” design for the all-wheel drive system that allows torque power to be transferred to either the front or rear wheels. The rear drive unit can be disconnected for FWD, in order to improve fuel efficiency. Fuel efficiency for the FWD model is an EPA-estimated 19/27 mpg city/highway. It slightly decreases to an 18/26 mpg rating for the AWD model.

Inside, the XT5 features a premium leatherette interior with a 40/20/40 split-folding seat. Maximum cargo capacity is 63 cubic feet. The center console features the Cadillac CUE multimedia system, which includes an 8-inch color display, an integrated navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, Apple Carplay/Android Auto compatibility, and 4 USB ports. A power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, OnStar 4G LTE connectivity, a wireless charging station, remote start, and a Bose premium audio system come standard. Optional features include leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, power/heated front seats, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a rear DVD entertainment system.

Standard safety standard features include a backup camera and a tire pressure monitoring system. A new, optional rear camera mirror offers more visibility by digitally omitting rear seats and pillar from view. Other available features include a heads-up display, adaptive cruise control, surround view, automatic park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a blindspot warning system, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and a pedestrian detection system.
