Their sales office scheduled me with Niram, the only salesperson in the dealership with a customer. After waiting for 10 mins, I asked for someone else to help me. From the test drive, I discovered the car had 4 major issues. When we returned to the dealership, the salesperson referred me to the sales manager Geno Canaba. I stated I was happy to come back the following Saturday when the car was fixed. Geno said, "Let's do the deal now and we will fix it". I was not comfortable with the sales tactic. I asked why they wouldn't fix the car first? Geno said, they were afraid to put money into the car in case it did not sell and they had to return to the auction and lose the repair costs. That's unacceptable! Why should a dealership expect a customer to sign a contract for an unfixed vehicle if the same dealership is afraid to not sell it when fixed? I've spoken to several professionals including the trade association which said this is an unfair practice. I've tried contacting their customer relations manager Lori Smith several times, but no luck. Obviously she knows why I'm calling and is afraid to address the issue with Geno.
