The 2021 Buick Encore GX is a subcompact SUV that made its debut last year. It has a lean, chiseled exterior with stretched grille and taillights. Maximum cargo capacity is 50 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.
Three trims are available: Preferred, Select, and Essence.
Powering the Encore GX is a standard 137-hp, turbocharged 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. A more powerful 155-hp, turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder joined with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.

Car met my needs as I was looking for a safe car. What surprised me was the slop of the roof. I hit my head on it 3 times the first day as my RAV 4 had a roof that was higher and not as sloping as the Encore. I just will get int he habit of ducking my head a bit was a lot higher. I also lost some storage room in the cargo area as the RAV 4 had the spare tire on the outside of the car

Love this car wouldn’t perfect for me and my family nice room inside comfy seats just love everything about it. Would buy it all over again if I had to.

What fun driving the encore...lots of new innovations. I lease every 3 years to enjoy new things. By the way seatbelts don’t put a stranglehold on you. Great learning experience for a 76 year old contemporary woman.
