I purchased a 2026 Hummer EV for $110,000 from Rick
I purchased a 2026 Hummer EV for $110,000 from Rick Hendrick GMC Mall of Georgia, and the delivery experience was extremely disappointing. I waited nearly 3–4 hours for delivery prep and charging, and at closing time I was told the vehicle had not charged. I left the dealership with only 20% battery and arrived home with 5%, which was very unsettling given that this is my first EV. My phone was not set up in the vehicle, and the dealership was already closed, leaving me without support. To make matters worse, the GM charging system—costing $2,100 plus $2,500 for installation—was not set up correctly. GM Energy has been very difficult to work with. I have made roughly 20 calls seeking help and continue to get the runaround. Buyers should be cautious with GM’s EVs and the support provided by Rick Hendrick GMC Mall of Georgia and GM Energy.
