Good service department
In the past, at other dealerships, if I carried an older vehicle into a dealership, the service department employees would make condescending comments to me or the sales people would be worrying me about trading my vehicle. I have never had that problem at Haley GMC.

Not pleased with service
On November 9, 2022, I went to Haley Buick GMC-Airport for a recall on my GMC Terrain which was supposed to be free and left paying $897.56 after the $91.61 senior deduction. I was never asked nor did I give my permission for anyone to inspect my vehicle for anything other than the recall. However, apparently, they took it upon themselves to inspect the entire vehicle to see what if anything, they could make money on. I was advised after the unauthorized inspection that I needed a new inspection sticker (which my daughter always takes care of). The Service Advisor showed me two invoices with a list of requirements – one showed possible repair suggestions and one showed a list of things that he stated had to be done before they could put a new sticker on my vehicle. He led me to believe that my sticker had expired or was expiring that day. I knew I did not want to be driving around with an expired sticker and possibly get a ticket, so I gave my permission. He showed me two separate invoices with two separate amounts, one was expensive, but not too too bad, but one was very very expensive – at least for me. However, I was under the assumption that my balance would be for the lower amount I had originally agreed to. Boy, was I shocked when I got the final bill. I have had my car inspected at a different establishment for many years and have never, ever, ever gotten a bill from them anywhere close to what Haley charged and I have had no problems with my vehicle from one year to the next. They do what is necessary to make sure my vehicle is safe and road ready. Although, they may make possible suggestions for things to be done in the future to maintain the upkeep of my vehicle, they have never ever ever stressed that everything had to be done before they could put the sticker on. I rarely drive my vehicle more than once or twice a week but most times not at all, and never ever for long distances. Therefore, there is absolutely no way things could have deteriorated that much on it since last year. I arrived at Haley around 11:15 and didn't leave until approximately 4:30. Now, I realize why it took so long. Therefore, by the time I left, I was tired and hungry, but most definitely extremely irritated and quite shocked when I saw what I had to actually pay rather what I had agreed to pay. I felt I was taken advantage of and I have no intention of returning to this establishment ever again.
