Bait Car dealership.
Bait Car dealership. Advertise a car that is not actually there or they say "It was just sold" and try and get you to look at another car. This was the Used Car Department.

In my view it is 100% bait cars being advertised just to get people in the door. This does not allow me to post the full story, the short of it here. There was about 1 hour and 30 minutes from when I inquired about a car and coming into Test drive it. Spoke with the Used Car Sales multiple time through out the day. I get there, they pull up the car on the computer. They then take a copy of my Driver's license. They say they are going to pull the car up for a test drive and leave to do that. Comes back and says we sold that car today. No one told me or called me to say the car I was speaking with them all day long was sold and if I would like for them to pick a new one out for me. This is a total bait and switch dealership. Stay away from them.

I own a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax used for real towing
I own a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax used for real towing and heavy work. During a routine oil change at McKinney Buick GMC, I received an inspection report through the Xtime system that said “1 item failed: Needs immediate attention.” The failed item was a $220 Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system cleaning. EFI cleaning is not a GM-required maintenance item. It is not part of the Duramax service schedule, it cannot fail, and it cannot be diagnosed during a basic service visit. The “failure” they reported was not real. When I called the Service Manager, he gave explanations that were technically impossible, including telling me you can “physically see carbon deposits coming out of the tailpipes” to justify the service. None of this is supported by any GM documentation. I later spoke with the Fixed Operations Director. On a recorded call, he confirmed that EFI cleaning is not required by GM, that it should not have been marked as a failed item, that it should not have been labeled “needs immediate attention,” and that it should not have been recommended at 15,000 miles. He also said the way it was presented to me was incorrect. This was not the first time I was offered a non-GM service at this dealership. At a previous visit, they tried to sell me an oil conditioner that GM does not require or recommend. After seeing this pattern, I cannot trust this dealership with major repairs on a $90,000 dollar truck. I have moved all future service to another dealership and submitted a formal complaint to GM Corporate. If you have work done here, review your inspection report carefully and compare any “failed” items to the actual GM maintenance schedule. This appears to be more than a misunderstanding, and it deserves attention.
