I had a very poor experience at Group 1 Buick GMC North
I had a very poor experience at Group 1 Buick GMC North (formerly Beck and Masten North) located at 11300 FM-1960. I brought my truck in for an oil change, state inspection, and a battery replacement. My service advisor was Lorri. I left my vehicle there for two days expecting a reasonable repair cost based on our conversations. When I returned to pick up my truck, I was presented with a $2,200 bill, which was roughly three times higher than what I reasonably expected. I questioned the amount and was told that all phone conversations are recorded. They replayed the call I had with my service advisor, during which a gasket replacement was quoted as ?sixteen twenty.? To any reasonable customer, that sounds like $16.20, which I assumed was the part cost. What was actually meant was $1,620, which was never clearly explained or confirmed upfront. Regardless of intent, the lack of clarity and transparency in pricing is unacceptable. Customers should not have to decode vague pricing language after the work is already completed. This experience left me with serious concerns about their communication practices, and as a result, I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to get all pricing clearly itemized and confirmed in writing before authorizing any repairs.
