Horrible Dealership! I’m not done with them Yet!!!

Dealing with this car dealership has turned into a nightmare! On October 17, 2022 I drove from Charleston area to look at (and buy) a 2022 High Country Tahoe. I decided to trade my 2018 Cadillac Escalade. I still owed a balance on my Cadillac (under $20k). Deal was made, they took my car as a trade in, and I bought the 2022 Tahoe. I was just made aware as of yesterday December 30, 2022 that not only have they not paid my Cadillac off… it’s still in my name and is about to go into default for non payment. I will be hiring an attorney and I will go after them to the fullest! I am almost 60 years old and I have never had anything like this on or against my credit! I have bought, sold and traded many cars/trucks in my lifetime, never have I ever had this happen! This is a Chevy/GMC dealership! I have a heart condition, and this has gotten me stressed beyond belief. Not how I want to end this year, or go into the New Year! But I’m not done!

Worst experience ever

Do NOT buy a car from this dealership. It has been 140 days since I bought a car from them and still have not gotten the title. Has been the worst car buying experience of my life. To start with, we scheduled a test drive, show up and the car we scheduled is on the way to another dealership. Wait around 4 hours for it to be brought back, test drive it, go to talk numbers and they try to go up $1000 on the advertised price (said they “forgot” what it was before they transferred it). Then tried to low ball us $3000 on our trade in, said “nobody uses Kelly Blue Book values” with a KBB “instant cash offer” poster on the table right next to us. Thankfully we noticed the tail light assembly was out and it was past due for an oil change and got them to agree to fix that before we closed on the deal. It then took them almost 2 months to pay off the trade in and send me a refund for the payments I had to make on the car I no longer had. Now after almost 5 months and dozens of phone calls, I still don’t have my title. Finally managed to get ahold of the owner, and he says it “slipped through the cracks” and they still have to pay the auction/wholesaler to get the title released. So, long story short, they sold us a car they hadn’t even paid for themselves, and have given us the run-around for 5 months. I understand things get missed sometimes, but after 30-40 phone calls and a DMV dealer complaint doesn’t fix the issue, it’s because they just don’t care about their customers once they get their money.

BAIT AND SWITCH!

This Dealership lacks any Integrity with their BAIT AND SWITCH of a 2021 GMC Sierra "NEW" Truck they said was available. After talking with Sales Person and finding out the correct numbers, pricing, financing etc. I then drove an hour and a half to purchase the truck to find out that it was a DEMO TRUCK with 5,000 miles on It! I was beyond upset that I was LIED too and wasted my time. To make it even WORSE I spoke with a Manager that had the nerve to insult my intelligence by stating that "People LOVE Demo Trucks because by driving them it works out the KINKS"! SERIOUSLY?? Just unbelievable that they wanted me to by a USED TRUCK with 5,000 miles on it for NEW Vehicle MSRP! I told the Manager I was extremely upset they wasted my time , he then asked what I would offer on the DEMO and I offered what ALL Demos are DISCOUNTED for and he told me " NO and that he did t believe I was coming to buy today". I couldn't believe my ears when he said that, because I drove 90 miles to get there with 80 year old mother so I could drive the BRAND NEW TRUCK I thought I was getting home. This Dealership needs to take training course on Honesty, Integrity, Humility and Customer Centricity!
