Updating Review
Leaving an updated review of this dealership after an initially good purchase experience. I'm from out of state (michigan) and like other have mentioned in previous reviews, it's been 45 days now and my temporary Ohio registration has expired. The dealership keeps blaming "my state" for the hold up and offering ZERO assistance to me and a now unregistered car. I see in a previous review that the dealership offered an additional 45 day temporary registration to another out of state customer, this is NOT being offered to me and the response has been "it's your state holding things up". I paid a title and documentation fee to this dealer when I purchased this vehicle and the service level I expect as part of that is not being upheld. They have literally left me without a title, and without a temporary tag to legally drive the vehicle while I continue to wait. This seems to be a common complaint with this dealership, and I've never had this problem purchasing a car in the state of Ohio before (this is the 3rd vehicle I've purchased in the state of Ohio). BUYER BEWARE.

Great communication, easy to work with
I contacted Stadium GMC about a used, 2020 VW GTI. Larry, my sales person initially replied to my inquiry and handled my purchase all they way thru. I was purchasing the car from out of state, several emails and text messages and one phone call and I had made a deposit on the car. The dealership held the car for me for about 1.5 weeks until I was able to make the trip down to Salem (from Michigan). Upon arriving, the vehicle was exactly as described, cleaned, and ready to go. Everyone at the dealership was expecting us, and was extremely pleasant (you’re the one from Michigan here for the GTI?)! Larry was extremely friendly, and closing was very easy (I brought my own financing). Thanks Larry, and everyone at Stadium GMC for making a semi-complicated out of state sale very easy.

3 Months no plates , no temp tags! No response
They sold me a 2021 tahoe and promised to get my FL plates. 3 mo later still no plates and my 2ns issued temp tag expires tomorrow. Their clerk Toni stated they cannot issue me a 3rd temp. She said she'd call FL but not sure what they can do. It's the dealerships responsibility and promise. It was part of the deal. If I can't get plates or temp then take the car back or undo the deal. I should not pay for a car I can't drive legally. This experience is so stressful and unending. They yes you to death to make a sale then blow you off (sales rep not responsive) If I don't get remedy by tomorrow I will have to sue to get out of this deal / file bbb / have my staff member dedicate 2 weeks to post unending negative reviews everywhere possible. After all I'd be stuck at home unable to drive.

In our defense, this was not are fault. This was the state of Florida's fault. They were behind on getting plates out because of Covid. We did our best to resolve this problem with them. We issued 2 temp tags for this customer. As of this morning, we received his new plates and we are going to overnight them to him today.
