Friendly and Easy!
I've purchased 5 vehicles over the last 2 years from Scoville! And I'll certainly buy more. This dealership has always made me and my family comfortable and they've always been fair and honest with me and my family each and every time we decide to switch it up and buy something new. Note: The Owego Finance Manager is one of the easiest and nicest people I've ever dealt with while purchasing a vehicle over the years.

They sold me a car they didn't own! When I went to...
They sold me a car they didn't own! When I went to arrived to sign the papers, give them the check, and transfer my plates, they told me they would have the title the next day. They put dealer plates on the car and kept my plates at the dealership. After being repeatedly promised that I would have the title within a few days, they finally gave me the title 17 DAYS later. This resulted in the DMV placing a suspension order on my registration because my insurance was transferred 17 days before the plates were. That suspension will be on my record for at least 3 years. When I called Scoville-Meno about it, their salesman, Rocky, ripped up one side of me and down the other, blaming me, my insurance company, etc. I filed a complaint with the DMV, and the final report I received after their investigation showed that Scoville-Meno Auto Plaza did not actually own the vehicle until 17 days after they sold it to me. Obviously, they couldn't provide a title for something they didn't own. The DMV cited them with 5 separate violations related to my transaction. I would never recommend that anyone do business with them.

Thank you for the response. We have already reviewed the details of this transaction multiple times. We did own the vehicle, however you can not process the plates until the lien release is physically in the dealership. Like all dealerships there is a timeframe between the time we take a vehicle in our possession and the time it is paid off. We responded to the DMV in a timely manner and there was no further action required of us.

Appeared to be a bait and switch
Working with Scoville-Meno was like pulling teeth. I had emailed about a car and gotten the response that it was going on a test drive that day and they will let me know whether it had sold after that. Got a test drive scheduled for 5:15 the next day. Didn't hear back, so I called at 3pm the day of our appointment. He said that the other deal seemed to be falling through and he would call me back in a minute. Get a call at 5pm, 15 minutes before our appointment (though I live 30 minutes away) asking me to reschedule for tomorrow. We schedule at 11am, as he was unable to get the car there earlier but I needed an earlier appointment to get my fiancee to work on time. I get an email at 10:26am as I am walking to my car to leave for our 11 appointment that the car will be ready for a test drive at noon. I called to confirm that this was not an error, and it wasn't. Not even an "I'm so sorry, but we won't be able to make our 11am appointment", just a simple " Our driver should be here with it at 12pm." No acknowledgment of our 11am appointment. We get there and have to wait 15 minutes past 12 for them or wash the car. Ironic, because the interior of the car reeked. Luckily I was given the go ahead to take the car to bring my fiancee to work. However, I noticed that the car was not the color advertised. It was also 16k more miles than listed and very dirty in the interior. We got back and questioned these differences. I was told that the car I made an appointment for had sold. Rocky was very nice. However, they still have not removed the listing for the vehicle that had sold and I don't want anybody to be baited and switched.
