My experience leasing a car from East Hills Chevrolet was excellent. Our agent was Alex . He is very knowledgeable of the product and he is always ready whit the right answer and very helpful going through the complex process of leasing. Alex is very patient and professional and very good making you feel comfortable. I recommend him and East Hills Chevrolet for your next lease or purchase . For sure they will be my choice for my next time . A. D’Angelo

Do not buy from here. Sales people may be pleasant but can't do anything after you sign your papers. They have to get EVERYTHING approved from Joe. My experience with Joe Montalbano from Easthill Cheverolet of Douglaston was extremely fustrating, discourteous and demeaning. From day one I knew my vehicle had tranny issues. I took it back to them ,Easthill, for them to look at this issue. On 2 occassions I was reassures nothing was wrong, only to find out that I now need a whole new tranny which is extremely costly. Month 5 of owning this vehicle. Joe promised me an extra key upon purchase, which I was told that I would have to get from a licenced Dodge dealership, being that his dealership doesn't program Dodge keys, and subsequently reimbursed. Upon getting this key made I reached out to Joe for reimbursment only for him to argue with me for an hour, constantly cutting me off, accusing me of lying, then promising to have me arrested if I return to his dealership only to have to eat his words and offer a less than sincere apology the day after because ge didn't even bother to ask the make of the vehicle and assumed that it was a Chevy. It gets worse !!! After returning to the official Dodge dealership to have the new key recalibrated they informed me of the issue that Joe and Douglaston couldn't find after 2- two hour long trips back and forth to thier location. I called Joe to inform him that I indeed did have a serious tranny issue that his dealership couldn't find ,and that I would leave an honest review of my experience. Joe proceeds to try to reassure me that they've offered me excellent service. I had to remind him that this was far from the truth as I made few trips to thier dealerships where they couldn't fix a 'slow leak' in my tire (courtesy repair), banned me from his establishment for asking for my promised reimbursment, and reassures me that my vehicle had no tranny issues only to find out that the tranny was basically shredded. Joe continued to talk himself into believing that they 'took care of me'. After 40 greuling mins Joe then goes on to question the value of my time and tries to minimilize my issue. He even took a very facetious tone saying that he has customers who's vehicles break down and can't understand why I'm calling him for this. When I agreed and told him that clearly I am being intentionally misled and that I will just go through warranty he asks me 'why I want to give him problems'. Joe wanted me to return the vehicle to his dealership for repair when his dealership couldn't even find anything wrong with the vehicle initially and couldn't repair my slow leak that supossedly a 'courtesy' for inconvenience. After telling Joe that I would just go through warranty, pay the deductible and have them repair the issue, Joe proceeds to ask to buy the car back from me to give to his son, completely ignoring my plan of action. The last thing I asked of Joe is to have his finance manager who signed me up for warranty to contact me about the details of sed warranty. To this day I never heard back from Joe or his finance manager. The only time Joe seemed pleasant was when asking if i could remove my original review of him banning me from his dealership. If you work hard for your money and want to feel like your getting your money's worth I pray that you read this full review and it saves you the trouble. I feel like the contracts were signed and I was disgarded like a piece of rubbish.

Dealer Response

Dear Marwin, We should have handled your concerns much differently. Your frustrations are coming through loud and clear in the review you wrote. It was relayed to me we handled the slow leak in your tire. It was also relayed to me we mailed you a check to reimburse you for the second key you had made. Is this the case? Do you still need to speak to someone in our finance department regarding your extended warranty? Please let me know. Also, regarding your vehicle’s transmission…. Is there still a warning light illuminated on your dash? I would be happy to have my general manager reach out to you to address the transmission issue and discuss arranging a tow truck to pick up your vehicle after leaving a loaner for you to use until repairs are complete. Will this work? Sincerely, Phil Wolhar Chief Marketing Officer East Hills Auto Group pwolhar@easthillsjeep.com

The advertised price is not the sale price! It's the price AFTER down-payment and fees! Deceptive. Waste of time.

Dealer Response

Dear Mr. Matteo, Our pricing is very competitive in the market. It is the price of the vehicle. There are sales taxes, DMV tags and charges and dealer fees that are added. There is no down payment included in the pricing seen online. We wish you the best with your search. Sincerely, Phil Wolhar Chief Marketing Officer East Hills Auto Group pwolhar@easthillsjeep.com
