BUICK GMC OF MAHWAH

I made a appointment to see a car they said was available,confirmed the appointment in the mail of appointment,drove 4:30 hours to get there,got there early and then was told the car was sold a hour ago, had the money in my wallet,next car they had was 5k more

I was charged $623.71 at Buick GMC of Mahwah to have a new battery installed plus "diagnostics!" I had to jump my truck this morning so I decided to go to Buick GMC of Mahwah to get a new battery, because mine is about 9 years old. I figured I'd pay a little more, because it's a dealer, but about $300 in labor alone to replace a battery?!?! Are you kidding me? I wound up paying about 3 times as much as I would have paid at Pep Boys or Advanced Auto Parts both of which are just a few miles further down Rt 17 - I priced it would have been about 1/3 the price installed at either Pep Boys or Advanced Auto Parts installed! Everyone was nice and courteous aside leaving me feeling like I got completely ripped off. I just cannot believe I just paid $623.71 for a battery replacement!!

Awful experience, I checked the availability of a vehicle two times and was told the vehicle was on premises. I went as far as to make an appointment for a test because I was coming from an hour away. When I arrived the staff was disinterested in helping me and claimed the vehicle was on a test drive, then they said it was back and they couldn't find the keys , finally they stated it was sent to a wholesaler just before I arrived. Your guess is as good as mine as to which story was the truth. Bottom line is their unprofessionalism led to a waste of time and money for me andy wife. Stay away
