I would NEVER do business with this company again, even though I am currently shopping the Buick lineup lineup (they ARE well engineered vehicles and I have had mine over 35 years) if I can get a good trade-in value. They do NOT put their service where their mouth is, and David Raming is the worst "plastic" scheister of them all, and that's why he is running things for the misinformed owner(s) (to hush / shut down any ideas of a lawsuit). He will twist your repair work legitimate complaints to suit his legal protection and outright lie about the condition of your vehicle (a classic rare Buick in my case) to the Attorney General himself if he can stop him from inquiring further. I should have known not to talk to him with his sales training tactics and weaseling. But he is as high as you can go in that company, the owner just hands the certified letter over to him to "handle". Can't believe they have no experience working on older models, but really can't believe they would try to snowball me for 2 weeks waiting for the repairs to be done, charging me over $2000 for NOT doing the repairs or even diagnosing the repairs even close to the actual issue (when the lower engine sound re-occurred after I conveniently got over an hour's drive away from them after they had closed and would not wait nor encourage me to do a test drive when I was there picking up the car and asked them if I could test drive it, I then headed over to the next nearest Buick dealer with this car and it was diagnosed within 15min (counting the 10min wait) simply by putting the vehicle on the rack, taking the belt off, and running it to easily "put an ear to it" to follow Zack's only comment to me what they would be doing for 2 weeks while I waited patiently (service manager at Dave Cross Motors) "technical" term) and immediately confirmed with me, the customer (Dave Cross Motors will not listen to the customer Dave Raming assured me in a recorded audio I have with him after I returned home, having to leave my car behind in another state because I was warned that it would not make it home and so I could not risk getting my family stuck in the mountains somewhere or worse if the engine seized up on the icy mountain roads and we went off the road to our deaths, even though Dave Cross Motors Zack had assured me it would get me home and "you can even do a little turbo if you need to"), that the issue was indeed a lower bearing noise and likely was the lower main bearing that went out (turns out he was right as was confirmed by this other Buick Dealer and 3 other sources later on) and I would have ruined the engine if I continued to UNSAFELY drive it and shred the bearing more. As it turns out I had to get the engine rebuilt and all the bearing shavings cleaned out of the intercooler, turbo, radiator, and engine at the least. I think you can see, Dave Cross Motors just didn't want to listen to me describing where the sound was coming from the day I came into the shop. I might also add that this other Buick dealer (Marmie's Chevrolet-Buick-GMC in Great Bend, KS) was a phenomenal IMMEDIATE help to us: they gave us a Buick to drive to a hotel they put us in, free of charge, then drove us north an hour the next day to the nearest car rental place so we could safely travel over the mountains to our home. I sent them a big thank you card for their service. I left out the fact that I was looking at a replacement new Buick (even though these new cars are mostly plastic nowadays and underpowered) at Dave Cross where they only offered me $1,500 for my $40,000 classic Buick, and David Raming lied again in our recorded conversation that there were several service technicians interested in buying it for around $15,000 and he would talk to them about it and follow up with me. HA!!! LOL. Dave Cross Motors was totally clueless on proper repair diagnosis and customer safety by comparison. Dave Cross Motors in Lees Summit Missouri CUSTOMERS BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!

Watch Out for DAVE CROSS Buick GMAC in LEE’S SUMMIT We
Watch Out for DAVE CROSS Buick GMAC in LEE’S SUMMIT We took our 2016 Buick Regal to DAVE CROSS in LEE’S SUMMIT for an oil change, tire rotation, and a new battery. Standard services that every dealer provides a hundred times a day. When they finished, my husband started driving home when an alarm went off in the car. The dashboard message was, “NO OIL. TURN ENGINE OFF IMMEDIATELY”. He was in traffic and desperately trying to get back to the dealer’s before the engine froze up. And he did make it. He was told that the markers on the dealership’s oil dispenser are worn off so everyone GUESSES how much oil they are putting in a car. They checked and it showed we had almost four quarts, but the sensor doesn’t register unless they put in the full five. After that was taken care of, my husband once again begins to drive home. He gets halfway and the dashboard sounds an alarm and the message, “TIRE MONITOR SYSTEM” displays. Finally at home, my husband called the dealership and they said to ignore the error message and that it only takes a few minutes to reset the tire monitoring system BUT it can only be done by the dealership. And the dealership is in Lee’s Summit and we live in Peculiar, MO so it is a bit of a drive especially after spending couple hundred dollars for services that were not properly done. The two SIMPLE jobs they neglected to do correctly makes it difficult for us to have faith in their service department. We were offered no discount, no partial refund, nothing for a job NOT WELL DONE. And we still must drive back AGAIN to get the tire monitoring system reset.
