Extended Warranty at GM
2017 Equinox under extended warranty. Engine stopped working at dealership. Warranty experience was the worse ever. The warranty people took 4 weeks to determine my vehicle adhered to the protection I paid extra for. Now I am waiting 3-5 weeks for an engine. While the dealership is trying to help I feel that no one at GM cares. I have no advocate for my situation. I called the parts department at the dealership for an update on my engine and the person I talked to really did not care. Your engine is on back order and that is it. Sorry. Too bad. Terrible customer experience. It has been 7 weeks and I have no idea when I might get my engine which was under warranty replaced. I called GM customer service to escalate this situation but I feel it will not help. This is the worst experience I ever had with a vehicle service. The worst. Given this experience why would I purchase another GM vehicle?
