Horrible Customer Service

I brought my truck in for an oil change, including a multi-point inspection, on Friday, June 4, 2021. When I left the service center, I was charged $69.95 and told that my truck was good to go and wasn't recommended for any additional services. I left and went to work and upon leaving work noticed a large pool of oil where my truck had been parked for the day. I called the service center but they were closed so I left a message explaining the issue and asked for someone to call me back ASAP. I missed work on Saturday because I didn't want to drive the truck due to the large amount of oil that had leaked out. I also, took off on Monday to take the truck back to have the problem corrected. When I took the truck in, I was told that my motor mount went bad and that I would need to pay close to $400 to have IT repaired. When the service manager, Jeff, showed me the part that he claimed was the problem, I asked him why the service tech had not seen it and informed me on Friday so I could have it repaired instead of having all of my new oil leak out. He replied that it was human error and that his oil change techs were not GM Certified because, if they were then I would be paying a whole lot more for an oil change. This was an insult because I have always paid what was required to keep my vehicle in top condition. He admitted that the problem should have been reported to me after the multi-point inspection but that there was nothing he could do about the error of his uncertified technician. Jeff in no way tried to rectify the situation just expected me to pay additional money for what he claimed to be his technician's error. This is unacceptable because the only reason for having my truck serviced at the dealership is to experience the "Certified Service Difference!" Jeff continued to blow off my concerns, even though he agreed that I was not wrong, and said because my truck had 100,00 miles issues should be expected but he failed to mention that I keep my truck maintained as recommended at the dealership and, in fact, had just spent $493.39 on January 14, 2021 for a tune-up, where again nothing was mentioned about possible issues with my truck. I am extremely disappointed in the condescending attitude and lack of concern for a loyal customer especially when I have had other issues that I forgave, such as a tech forgetting to tighten my lug nuts after a tire rotation and having a bad oil filter installed which also caused a leak. My wife cautioned me against returning after those incidents but I returned because I thought I was valued as a repeat customer. Unfortunately, I will not have any further dealings with this dealership and will also avoid GM if this is the type of customer service that is accepted by your company. My wife and I are both in the market for new vehicles and now have to research other brands instead of continuing our loyalty to GM.
