Will Not Honor Product Sold

I recently bought a new GMC Sierra and the dealership installed a tonneau cover on the bed. I travel and had taken the truck to another dealership for it's first oil change and that dealership told me that the bed cover was installed incorrectly and was missing a piece that would completely cover the bed (it has a 3/8" gap between the tailgate and the cover and currently my contents are getting soaked when it rains. The tonneau cover company acknowledged this as well). When I went in and provided my name, the service manager Lacy stated that the cover was the correct cover that fit my truck. I tried to explain that she was correct but there was an additional part that attached to the end that would cover the tailgate and she asked if I would wait while they adjusted the cover. After an hour she asked if I would take a look. They adjusted it to where it cannot be opened. I asked her to open it and she pulled on it three times and stated she was too short and called for the technician and he didn't open it. She printed off a paper and highlighted the paragraph that stated that no tonneau cover was going to be 100% waterproof but mine doesn't even cover the bed?? so that statement would be true if the cover only covered 50% of the bed. I provided her the number of the technician that had the product number of the additional part and she stated she tried calling twice but no answer, I then called and put him on speaker phone which seemed to provoke her. She told me there was nothing more she could do for me. The technician on the phone told me that it was unprofessional and to call GMC customer care. I got into my truck very upset to have to drive an additional two hours and forty minutes home with a cover that now doesn't work at all. There was a large sign on my rearview that I threw out and she was holding my keys in her hand. she said do you want your keys and dangled them and I said please give me my keys with my hand out. she started to scold me about throwing the paper out and asked again if I wanted my keys, I then said hand me my keys. She started to tell me something else and by that time I was getting upset that she wouldn't drop the keys in my hand, and asked me a third time if I wanted my keys, I then said in a angered voice to hand me my expletive keys and she did. I left and she told GMC customer service I was violent and they will not honor their service guarantee. GMC will do nothing because this is a dealer installed item. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. First and last time dealing with them.

Terrible costumer service! Matt Lilleston is an terrible salesman too! Knew about a problem with the vehicle when we bought it and never fixed it. Now won’t return any phone calls or text! Bunch of crooks! Look elsewhere for a vehicle!
