This is an update of a previous review. Purchased a used car, prior to the purchase I was told the side assist was not working properly and we agreed on a lower price to help cover the cost of the repair. Flew down to purchase the car and all seemed good. Upon getting back home, brought the car in to get the side assist repaired. Unfortunately, it was discovered the car also had a bad water pump and thermostat AND that it had been in a previous accident which did not appear on the Autocheck provided by the dealership. The rear bumper, driver's side rear quarter panel, rear door, and the front door had all been repaired and painted. The Audi side assist was not working because the accident damaged the rear bumper radar sensor, in addition, the driver's side rear door handle cable was damaged causing the handle to not open the door, and the drivers side rear rim/wheel hub was bent all due to the accident. All in all, it took an additional $2300 in car repairs. Prior to purchase, I asked for the results of a detailed dealer inspection completed when the car was brought to the dealership. The leaking water pump, bent rim, or accident history was not listed. The report had everything checked as good. So keep your eyes open, things are not always as presented.
