Horrible Experience

I saw a price on a vehicle listed on their site that I was interested in. I submitted my information and received a phone call from the Highland office saying the vehicle is available and the price was correct. She verified the figures in their system and then said the vehicle was located in Litchfield. I called the Litchfield location and the salesman verified the vehicle was available and set up an appointment with me that morning. As I was getting ready to leave to go to my appointment, the salesman called me back and said he wasn't sure the price was correct and that his sales manager was checking on it. Ten minutes later I received another phone call saying that the price was $4,000 higher than what was listed on their website and he apologized. When I spoke to the sales manager, I explained that the Highland office said that the price was correct in the system and he told me, in so many words, "those girls down there don't know what the pricing should really be." It is difficult to trust a dealership who doesn't honor the prices they list publicly and then talks badly about their female employees as if they don't know the sales business. If that is the case, why wouldn't they train the staff there rather than allowing them to solicit the consumer into the dealership under false information. If the Highland office staff, or "girls" as they were labeled, don't know the pricing, I would recommend training them.

Bad customer service if you're from out of state

First off, I live in Dallas. Found a car I really liked here, so I emailed to check on availability. They responded the next day and stated they did have the car. Great! Since I'm out of state and can't just pop in to check the car out, I emailed back asking for more detailed pictures and some general questions. Almost two days go by and I don't hear anything so I email again. They apologize and say they were extremely busy. I understand, dealerships can get busy. I finally get some pictures, but not all the ones I asked for and they didn't answer all of my questions. So I email back again to get what I was looking for. After another slow response I finally have all of the information that I need and decide I want the car. So, now would be the right time to start negotiations, right? Wrong. After over a week of trying to get information about the car, my salesman (Mike Zippay) says that the price that's listed is the price. They would come down ~$1K if I didn't want the car certified. The website stated the car was already certified. It would have been nice if they stated off the bat that this was a take it or leave it price dealership. I wouldn't have wasted over a week of my life trying to buy this car had I known that.
