I bought two vehicles from Royal over the past 5 years
I bought two vehicles from Royal over the past 5 years and the experience purchasing a Cadillac last month reveals how far the sales team has fallen under Scott Chambers' management. The Lyriq was sold with defective parts and every problem I have had with the vehicle could have been identified weeks earlier or avoided entirely if the anyone on the sales team or EV ambassador had taken the time to adequately walk through the Lyriq's functions. Instead, during the walkthrough a call from a peer in the dealership resulting in the EV ambassador saying he needed to end the walkthrough early because he was the only one who knew where something was and needed to go get it. Unfortunately, the subsequent priority for Scott Chambers has been to avoid phone calls, send me to OnStar, end conversations as quickly as possible, and deflect responsibility to the service department. In addition, after the sale I discovered that the VIN was reissued, but Scott refused to provide a reason or help in any way except to say I needed to contact GM. I will probably never know if the lack of a walkthrough and subsequent inaction were intentional because Scott knew the vehicle was defective prior to the sale or if it was just how Royal does business.
