A more powerful 382-hp, 3.0-liter six-cylinder is available for the M40i. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. Fuel economy for the sDrive30i trim is an EPA-estimated rating of 23/29 mpg city/highway. It decreases slightly to a 21/28 mpg rating for the xDrive30i, while the M40i has an even lower rating of 21/26 mpg.
