Spent 3500.00 to repair Comfort access

Body Shop sent my BMW to MAG to repair the Comfort Access and after having it home for 2 weeks it stopped working. Now the Dealer ship will not stand behind their repairs and I must risk 167.00 more for them to tell me what is really going to fix my issue. I don't understand why they must charge me after I spent so much on the repair.
