This recent purchase of our 2018 X3 is our 5th BMW from I.G. Burton and the last four have been with Nate Robinson. He is polite, has a thorough knowledge of the BMW line of vehicles, is responsible and follows though in a timely manner, and has come to know what features we like/dislike over the years. He is also a BMW owner, which says volumes about his belief and dedication to the product that he sells.

Questionable Repair Recommendations & Pricing

Started with the E350 Class, which was an electronic nightmare. We traded up to the ML350 - mistake, should have gone elsewhere - like Winner or Preston. Ok, let me set the stage... I receive an email on May 30, 2018 at 11:52am, regarding my overdue spark plug change, mind you - I only have 50k miles on this vehicle. ALL other vehicles go 100k before spark plugs are recommended. On Friday, June 1, 2018 @ 3:18pm, the check engine light came on and my car stalled. I started it and moved to the shoulder and turned on my hazards. The temps were in the high 90s and I had my small dog and no water. I call the MB roadside, they state a tow truck driver is being dispatched. My spouse arrived at 4:05pm (Thank God), because my puppy was panting horribly; and there's nothing within miles! I call MB Roadside back, "Where's the tow truck?" Mind you, I watched 6 tow trucks drive by without cars attached. MB must bid out to the lowest company, because my tow truck would not arrive until 5:25pm - 2 long hours after the initial call. It is now Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2:26pm; and Ryan within the service department "Claims" my spark plugs are bad??? Seriously -- I need spark plugs days after YOU IG Burton send me an email stating I need spark plugs -- at just over 55k miles? Coincidence -- I do not think so..... Sorry, but if they can unlock your car doors electronically - who knows what else can be done? We are filing a formal complaint against Mercedes Benz, who have walked away from quality - because they only seem to care about quantity anymore. I am DONE and I will be OUT OF THIS CAR BY MONTH'S END!!! Run as fast as you can from the Mercedes name, the repair costs are exorbitant and quite frankly, a complete rip off - today's CHA-CHING for IG Burton to line his pockets, over $574 dollars. Because of our experiences with Mercedes, our second family vehicle that we just purchased is a Lincoln - FABULOUS, AMERICAN MADE with AMERICAN FAIR PRICING ON OIL CHANGES and OTHER REPAIRS - not this A Service or B Service repair recommendation or else, which are ridiculous. Mercedes, if your cars need spark plugs at 50k or the car breaks down - there's is definitely an issue in your design department. One car manufacturer manipulated emissions with their computer boards on all of their models and ALL vehicles pretty much have the ability to have MB unlock, start and God only knows what else from remote locations - so do they create the malfunction, so you're forced to have your vehicle serviced? I leave you to ponder that thought...... I will find out, this much I can promise you.
The ONLY person I value at IG Burton is Brian Sudler, as he's responsive, writes Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday text messages - a real gentleman, who cares about PEOPLE - but that relationship is also over, so sorry Brian - you're a great person.

I worked with Nathaniel Robinson to turn in my old lease and enter into a new one for a 2018 X3. Nate exceeded expectations in all steps of the process. His calm and highly professional demeanor is coupled with thorough knowledge about the vehicle and the steps to follow in leasing. When others needed to be consulted either at the dealership or at BMW by phone, Nate communicated clearly and followed through on every detail. He gave me clear, accurate answers to every question.
