2018 Audi TT Coupe Quattro

by 2018 audiTT from Melbourne,FL | March 16, 2019

I purchased this 2018 Audi TT Coupe from Audi of Melbourne,FL in May 2018 after ordering and waiting several months for build and delivery. Positives- beautiful design, high quality inside and out , practical for a sports car , so far reliable, good MPG, unique as you dont see many on the road......Negatives - the TT 2.0 turbo engine is rated at "220hp and 258 torque" yet Audi's own A4 2.0T is rated at "252hp and 278". same engine yet in the sports car its rated much lower. VERY disappointing. For 2019 they updated the rating to 228hp/258 torque but still..... Also Audi offers more potent versions in the TTS and TTS RS ( at 53k and 65k ) and when you hear their exhaust it sounds aggressive. In comarison the TT coupe sounds really boring in comparison. If Audi recognizes the need for a "hearty" exhaust in the TTS and TTRS then why not as well in the TT. This could have "freed up" some additional horsepower as well as hearing some aural excitement .Also- rear sway bar could be significantly stiffer to minimize body roll. The car is somewhat difficult to get in and out of but once you are in its fine. Dashboard is confusing .PERIOD. It is NOT easy to scroll around and find needed info even after several moths of ownership. This is a hugely frustrating aspect of ownership.

Seat belt design is dangerously flawed.

by amv from Seattle, WA | June 17, 2018

This is a great car except that the seat belts sit too low and could fail to properly restrain a driver’s upper torso in a collision. This is a serious design defect that could and should be addressed by Audi engineers.

Fun car to drive

Great performance. Good looking comfort, and many modes of driving to choose from. Only thing I would of like to have was the braking system.
