Not the most reliable car but it is the most fun.

I had a few issues with the car’s engine and sensors almost 3 days after I bought it. It is very fun to drive and after the expensive maintenance it will be a blast driving.

Sweet Ride for sure?

Amazing performance and refined interior, exterior simple but overall very nice vehicle but pricy and maintenance high of course as its german and expensive. Was my 1st pick but it was too old and warranty was up. 2018 wrx barely used won me over as 2nd pick.

Enthusiast car for driving everyday.

I am a car guy and I take car purchases very seriously. A car for me is more than just getting from point a to point B. I had my previous car for 11 years and it was going to take a lot to get me out of my 2004 sob 93 Aero with Apr stage 1. I was unimpressed with the styling and performance of the new A3 but when I read my first review of the 2015 S3 everything changed. I had to drive this car it might be the one. It has actually been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned and I enjoy every moment of the experience. The handling is amazingly flat. The power broad. And the upgraded sound system is always a thrill. The transmission is a mixed bag. It is super fast on the shifts but there’s some problem I can’t quite identify’ Not enough to lessen my enjoyment. I don’t see anything on the horizon that could pry me out of this car and less it’s a next generation of my wonderful S3. A friend of mine once told me that you know you made a great choice when you walk away from your car and can’t resist turning around to take a look at it. Every time I walk away’ I turn around.

2015 Audi S3 Overview

Brand new for 2015, the Audi S3 combines luxury and performance in a small package that competes with the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG and the BMW m235i.

Think of the S3 as a crisper, more performance-oriented version of the A3. It takes the basic elements of the A3 and builds on them speed focused upgrades like more aggressive suspension tuning, larger brakes, and most importantly a beefed-up version of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces more horsepower and torque.

The S3 is only offered in sedan form (no convertible here yet) and fits right into the rest of the Audi lineup, with symmetrical proportions and a large front grille that features the four-ring logo prominently. 18-inch alloy wheels come standard with summer performance rubber attached. Larger 19-inch wheels are available as part of a performance package that also includes Audi magnetic ride, which offers continual damping adjustments and other suspension customizations. The S3 also offers slightly more aggressive bodywork than the A3 and a quad exhaust.

Under the hood, the S3 gets a 292-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 280 pounds-feet of torque. This is a 72-hp and 22 pounds-feet of torque improvement over the A3’s turbocharged four-cylinder and the added power helps push the S3 from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. A six-speed dual-clutch automatic is the only transmission option; Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system is standard as well.

The cabin gets a few unique S-themed styling touches as is Audi’s custom. A three-spoke flat bottom steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and sport seats hint at the S3’s sporting intentions. Standard features include leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, HD radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and push button start. Also available are expanded infotainment options with MMI touch and Audi connect, a navigation system, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The 2015 S3 got stellar crash test ratings, receiving the highest possible distinctions from both the NHTSA and IIHS. Standard safety features include ten airbags, antilock brakes, electronic stability control, and LATCH in the rear seats. There is also plenty of optional safety technology, including a rear view camera, parking system plus, active lane assist, and Audi side assist.
