With Audi planning to launch no new vehicles powered by internal combustion engines after 2026, it’s possible that resources are thin for gas-burning vehicles like the Q3, the current generation of which launched in 2019. Accordingly, updates for the small SUV are few.
In terms of standard equipment, there’s just one update: Adaptive cruise control is now standard across the Q3 line. Other changes are limited to an available wireless phone charger and HomeLink functionality and revised paint options.
Performance Specs
The Q3 continues to offer a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine in two strengths. In the Q3 40, it makes 184 horsepower and 221 pounds-feet of torque. In the 45 S Line, output ratchets up to 228 hp and 258 pounds-feet. Both are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Trim Levels
The 2024 Q3 continues to be available in Premium and Premium Plus trim levels. The base 40 Premium comes fitted with a panoramic moonroof, three-zone climate control, heated front seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.8-inch touchscreen and ambient lighting. Audi’s standard safety suite for the Q3 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors.
Moving up to the Premium Plus variant adds keyless entry and starting, adjustable ambient lighting, lane departure steering assist and a 360-degree parking camera. The Technology Package, only available on the higher trim level, includes Amazon Alexa, navigation, traffic-sign recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Sonos sound system. In addition to the extra power, Q3 45 models also gain more options for wheel designs and interior colors.
