Alex at Audi West Chester went above and beyond to make sure we were happy while purchasing our new RS5. Low pressure sales and very knowledgeable. This showroom has an amazing selection of cars - highly recommend.

attempted to defraud me

Reviewed by Selim from Washington, DCApril 07, 2021

I filed a complaint against West Chester Audi with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office because they charged us for a certified pre-owned (CPO) Audi, but on the day we came to collect the vehicle, they gave us a regular used Audi (the dealership de-registered the car and removed its CPO protection after they cashed our check). The dealership took my check on February 13 and asked me to return after the funds had cleared, but when I returned to pick up the car a new sales manager (Steven Baxter) was on duty and he told me he was not going to give me the CPO protection that I had paid for. I decided to call general manager Rob Nourie. I pointed out to Mr. Nourie that, by removing the car’s CPO protection, Mr. Baxter had put the dealership in breach of contract. I pointed out the documentary evidence I could show (written assurances and signatures from dealership staff certifying that I was purchasing a CPO car, as well as the fact that I wrote “2019 Audi Q5 CPO” and the car’s VIN on the check that I used to pay for the car). I also decided to file a complaint against the dealership with Audi of America, and to report the dealership to the Attorney General’s office. On March 16, Mr. Nourie finally informed me the dealership had paid the necessary CPO fee to Audi of America and that "the CPO went into effect as of 3/15/2021.” In other words, weeks and weeks of grief trying to push this dealership to give me the CPO protection they charged me for. I have shared with the Attorney General’s office my concern that customers who are less aggressive about defending their rights could be defrauded by this dealership, and I asked the Attorney General’s office to keep my complaint on file.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Reviewed by TD from WEST CHESTERMarch 24, 2021

From beginning to end, my experience with this dealership was awful. Good customer service is not that difficult. This dealership is convenient and close to my home. After I signed the papers on my lease they lost the vehicle, and the process of trying to find it went on for weeks. Got the car, loved it. At 6K miles it started having serious electrical/computer problems. This went on for a couple of years, and each time my car went in to the shop, I had to follow up, over and over again. Several times they would have it for days and say nothing was wrong, then I would get it back and it would malfunction on the road the next day and they would have to come pick it up. When it ran, I loved it. The final straw, however, was when I returned the car at the end of the lease, in excellent condition and well under the mileage allowance. I was considering, even after all of it, leasing another audi from this dealership. The representative who processed the return asked me if he should get a sales person. I explained I had some history and would prefer to speak to the sales manager and that she would know me by name. She was in her office chatting with another audi employee. The door was open, they were laughing. He said he would go get her. He came back and told me she was too busy to talk to me. I laughed, because it was the cherry on top of the whole experience. He asked me if I wanted to leave a message, and I said no, she sent the message loud and clear by her actions just then. Fast forward three months, I get a registration renewal on the car from the state of PA. I call Audi USA, they tell me I have to go back to this dealer and get a receipt that my plates were returned to me, which I refuse to do. So I ask, how bad is it that the dealer is super close to my house, I want to buy another Audi in spite of all the problems, and not only will I not buy another car there, I won't even go back to get the paperwork on the plates? It's that bad.
