After unveiling the Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary models in early April, Alfa Romeo has bolstered its 2024 lineup with the 2024 Giulia and Stelvio Competizione trim. The Competizione is a more luxury-focused variant that slots in below the Quadrifoglio for each vehicle’s trim levels.
The Competizione is based on the Veloce trim and features Moonlight Gray matte paint, exclusive to the trim, as well as red brake calipers tucked behind 21-inch alloy wheels. The rest of the exterior styling is mostly carried over from the standard Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV, with the front and rear getting updated head and taillights and tweaked styling.
The interior of the Competiziones is also largely carried over from the standard Veloce. A 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system is standard, and there are upgraded sport seats with red stitching, a leather-upholstered dashboard, and special Competizione badging on the sides of the seats and the head restraints. A standard 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is also standard and offers drivers configurable modes, including three display layouts.
Performance for the Competizione comes from a 280-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Giulia comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but buyers can swap it out for an optional all-wheel-drive system; the Stelvio SUV gets AWD standard.
