Dealers are account - Watch out for Finance

I like Acuras, but I cannot stand the dealership. The pricing games and the pushing and pulling - I'm on my 3rd Acura and I reluctantly deal with these guys. I have had (3) separate poor experiences trying to get a new car each time and EVERY TIME (except ONE) has there been an extraordinary amount of haggling on the price. *As a returning customer for the last 8 years, they treat me as if I'm not going to come back. If they'll take advantage of me on the price, you better believe they'll take advantage of YOU. **BUT** I will say - I've spoken two more than one great dealer here. It's the finance people that are typically the most egregious.

Park Place Refused service if using own oil.

I purchased my wifes 2022 RDX from them, sales experience was good relative to other car purchases I've had to live thru. Service department has a bit to be desired, especially since they moved to the new Premier Acura location Today, I was REFUSED service, flat out denied to work on my wifes RDX because I brought my own oil with me. Would not touch the vehicle unless every part used came from their parts department. They said it was a Liability if they didn't use only Acura parts. This is the second service scheduled for this vehicle there, first one they did use my own oil, but this time refused service at all. I have never been turned down service at ANY location, be it Stealership or independent for bringing in my own oil. Should not be an issue if it meets/exceeds the specs for the vehicle being serviced, which it does. I called all other Acura dealerships in the DFW area and they all said they have no problem with using owners oil if they choose. In addition, I chalk marked my tires prior to my first service with Park Place. They did not rotate my tires, but still charged me for the rotation labor. I took my car to a different Acura dealer for service. They were great, said they didn't understand why Park Place refused, but they got me in right away without an appointment and I was out within a hour, not the 3-4 Park Place was estimating for my appointment and same amount of time it took for the first service which was still just basic oil/filter/tire etc. Will never go back there again or purchase from there.

Bad Costumer Service

I have a very bad experience with Marco Martinez, service department. Our Acura was diagnosed with a need for a catalytic converter replacement. I was promised to this man that he will order it for us. No communication from him if the said parts had arrived and if we call or send email he never answers. Very bad costumer service. Not good to be in his position.
