I’m very disappointed with my experience at this dealership. I called on Monday, 12/16/2024, and spoke with a salesperson about a specific car that was still available. This was a rare find, so I was excited. I even offered to leave a deposit to ensure the car would be held for me until I could come in on Wednesday, 12/18/2024, since the salesperson was off on Tuesday. I was reassured that “these cars don’t move that fast” and it would still be there. However, when I followed up via email to confirm my appointment and discuss the details, I received a call informing me the car had been sold the previous day because another customer put down a deposit. Was my deposit not good enough? This felt unethical and incredibly disappointing for a dealership with a strong reputation in the area. To make matters worse, I was told they wanted to sell the car above MSRP, which I found outrageous especially since their website lists a price and says nothing about market adjustment (sounds like bait and switch). When I balked at the "market adjustment" of 2-3 grand extra, the salesman then switched up tactics and tied insisting on adding unnecessary extras like wheel and tire protection or extended warranties—none of which I wanted. This entire experience has left a bad impression, and I doubt I’ll ever return to a Piazza dealership if this is how they treat potential customers.
