I had my 2011 mdx in for the consumption test and engine rebuild. Both vehicles qualified for the service.
On the first mileage check of my mdx i discovered that the tech forgot to replace my dipstick. I drove 1000 miles with no dipstick and didn’t know it.
Rude service. I was told “we don’t make mistakes” when they clearly had. This wasn’t the last mistake that would be made either.
On my 2010 tL they made me wait a very long time before scheduling the actual rebuild. The day after I got my TL back from the rebuild it began spitting oil all over the place. Made a mess of my engine bay and driveway. I immediately brought the car back in. When I explained to the service manager that my car was spewing oil he didn’t seem to believe me until I pointed at my car in the parking lot that was billowing smoke at this point. They call me the next day and apologize and state that the valve cover had not been sealed correctly.
Both my 2011 MDx and 2010 TL magically needed a oil pump gasket bc they were “leaking” despite never having leaked a drop of oil.
Fast forward a year and a half and my mdx has a code that it is throwing that will not allow cruise control to work. It states “check acc system”
I take the mdx in for a oil change and ask them to diagnose this matter. They spend 3 hours looking it
Over. At one point the woman comes out and implies that the code has only been on since may according to my “black box” I explain that me mechanic reset the code around that time to see if it would go away. Ultimately they cannot figure out what is wrong with it and then tell me it would need 3 more hours of diagnosing and that would cost $375.
They still charged me for the diagnosis. They claim that my car has a bunch of aftermarket parts in the front (first I’ve heard of it) and somthing must be wrong in the wiring . Again, they still charge me for diagnosis. They respond to my reviews by implying Basicly that I haven’t kept up with the maintenance on my car ( I have. I use a different mechanic) . The woman has been rude and condescending. If they called me and offered to fix every problem I have for the rest of my life of owning Acura’s I would still never step one foot into superior Acura again.
While I was there I watched the staff take notice to the lot tech pressure washing the INSIDE of a car.
The whole experiment has been a joke. They are nasty here.

Steve is the best dealer I met since I bought my first vehicle. He dealt with us warmly and gave us introduction on the car we were interested in. He showed us exterior and interior and let us know the latest technologies used in the vehicle. Especially he couched us how to use the navigation and communication systems. Not only did we bought a satisfied car but also learned useful mechanical and electronic knowledge. We appreciate his warm attitude and professional engagement¿

I just purchased my second used Acura from Superior Acura of Fairfield and they never fail to exceed all expectations. Steve Swantko is the consummate car sales professional.
