Worst customer service to date. Now this large dealer charges you the merchant fee to use a credit card….not even McDonalds charges a merchant fee. Service people used to wear slack's and a nice shirt, it’s now cargo shorts and a tee shirt.

I went in for the first time to Key Acura in Reno.

Reviewed by Merry K. from Dayton, NVMay 02, 2024

I went in for the first time to Key Acura in Reno. My service advisor was Brian R. I had the A1 service which includes the oil change. Although never having had an oil leak before, my car now started leaking oil in my garage, a substantial puddle and I could smell it burning while driving. I took it to another mechanic closer to home as I didn't want to drive to Key Acura for safety, cost and time reasons. It turns out they didn't tighten the oil drain plug. It was very loose. . There was oil running down my exhaust. After substantial tightening it up the oil is now not leaking. When I called Brian wanted me to drive the 39 miles back and was telling me that what I should be concerned about is that the local mechanic might have turned my drain plug too tight. Brian didn't seem concerned that I could have lost the plug and lost all my oil while driving. I had to see this other mechanic and clean up a mess in the garage and that's all Brian offered to compensate Acura's mess up.

Make sure your vehicle is not in a SALVAGE TITLE before

Reviewed by lizenriquez59June 03, 2023

Make sure your vehicle is not in a SALVAGE TITLE before you buy it!!! I’m not going to say this dealership committed dealer fraud but they did sell us a vehicle that was in a salvage title without disclosing that information beforehand. Customer service is non existent and seemingly not even in their vocabulary. We spent 6 hours yesterday returning a car that should never have been sold to us only to be fed with lie after lie and left with nothing but an insincere apology and excuses. I recommend to anyone that you never ever shop here for a vehicle. The lack of due diligence and utter disrespect is appalling. “We didn’t know” and “this has never happened before” did nothing to give us back the money and time we’ve wasted on this vehicle for the last 5 months. Nor did it alleviate the frustration of the situation. Shame on them. “If a dealership sold you a vehicle that has a salvage title and this information wasn't disclosed to you, they have committed dealer fraud. All dealers who sell vehicles with salvage titles are bound by law to disclose the title to the buyer prior to the sale“
