Damage done to my car while in for service

My car was damaged while in for service and I didn't see it when I picked it up and didn't notice it for 2 weeks when I first hand washed it. It's a 6 foot+ dent that runs the length of the car above the doors that has an even rub mark running through the middle of it with no scratching. It appears that it was caused by a faulty car wash. I have always hand washed this car and the only time it has been through a car wash is at the dealership. I am the only one that drives this car and it is always parked in a safe spot. The dealership of course denies that their car wash did this and even if that's true it had to have happen while on their watch. Beside not taking responsibility for this they further insult me by suggesting that it happened to me in a way that I would have had to know about it. Basically saying that I'm lying and trying to get them to pay for it or fix it.
My problem is that I didn't notice it for 2 weeks (who looks at that part of the car?!). They did offer to give me a little discount on the bodywork if their bodyshop fixed it but I can't justify giving them 1 dime to fix damage they caused.
All I can do is pay my trusted bodyshop ($1500) to fix it. My only real recourse since I can't prove it and 2 weeks elapsed before finding it, is to let everyone I know or come in contact with my story. And to leave an honest review.

I am a hard working, reliable middle class professional who has been a loyal Acura customer for many years. I bought one, leased many Acuras. I am currently leasing a 2016 RXL and have less than one year to go and once I have finished the lease I will NEVER give business to ACURA AGAIN! Let me tell you why!
During my leasing of 2014 RLX I had signed up auto payment for once a month via my checking account. You would not believe it that Acura charged me twice or three times a month without my consent! When I had realized it and called Acura Financial Services, they refused to given me my money back and said that no matter what I still have to pay off the 36 months payment and I had to go though my back trying to get my money back. In May, 2016 I traded in my 2014 RLX to 2016 RLX and the local dealer bought my old car and I signed new lease with the 2016 RLX and paying monthly payment by sending checks( no more auto payment with Acura Financial Services so that they will not be able to steal my money again!). You would not believe it, in July 2018, 2 years later! I have received a letter from both Acura Financial Services and a COLLECTIVE AGENCY telling me that I owe Acura $1651.98! What a F*& K! Can anyone believe this?! Is this in America or in Japan! I have called Acura Financial Services twice and each time, they told me different story!
As anyone with common sense will know that once you have traded in your older car, the dealer bought your car and you are no longer responsible for your older car. I was cleared told by the dealer before I signed out the new contract that they paid off and bought the older car.
I called the local dealer general manager, who was just as upset and surprised as any one of us and told me that he will call Acura Financial Services in the morning. But the problem still has not been resolved and I have decided to bring Acura Financial Services to court if need. But why I have to go through this?!
I am sharing my experiences with Acura Financial Services so that you--the potential buyer or leaser can look somewhere else or other brands to avoid the horrible experience and feel of betrayal from Acura Financial Services--You have no choice to avoid Acura Financial Services whether you guy or lease Acura!
In addition, driving Acura for so many years, Acura does NOT give me or you the feeling of enjoying a TRUE luxury car!
Having read the above truth about Acura, guys save yourself the risk having to pay to see a Psychiatrist because of all these stress from Acura, go for a true luxury car like BMW, Mercedes Benz and other brands. Above all, save yourself from being stolen from Acura Financial Services!
