Irvine Acura

Unfortunately, not a place I'd recommend purchasing any used car from. I cannot speak on their new cars as mine was used. I purchased my 2018 Audi A4 from them back in January of 2025 (not their main car brand, I know). They claimed they detailed the car, spoiler, they didn't and left grass and dirt all over the carpet underneath the weather mats. Okay whatever, big deal right? The car was also sold to me with cheap tires that had uneven wear from a bad alignment. Well, they also claimed they did the brakes AND reported this to CarFax which means they literally lied to CarFax as well. A month after purchase, wear indicator starts going off and they squeak very loud, and they needed to be replaced (All 4 Rotors and Pads). Also, the keyless entry handle did not work on the drivers side. To top all this off, the car they sold me also started reeking of a sweet coolant smell and I come to find there's a coolant leak which is not cheap to diagnose and fix, especially when it's the water pump. After I brought this up to them since they claimed I had a "3 month warranty" with them, they said they would get back to me to schedule help and never did, and repeatedly ducked my phone calls. 6 months later, I get the car aligned as I had suspicion they had aligned the vehicle poorly and find out only the front wheels were aligned and not the rears, which is ridiculous considering it's an all-wheel drive vehicle. With all this being said, I should have done my due-diligence and inspected the car more thoroughly rather than trusting them. The service people were surface level friendly, professional and the place was clean. Those are about the only good things I have to say about this place. Please avoid if you can help it.

I am selling my Tesla on Cars.com and after all the stats on my car were entered, Irvine Acura made an “Instant Offer” of $18,600. Upon contacting them directly, they lowered the offer to $16,500… that’s a $2,100 difference! What a scam! I called, after waiting 4 hours for them to return my call. Then, they put me on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up and called back. I asked to speak to the manager of the used car department and he wouldn't speak to me. The sales associate claimed that the Cars.com software was new and the quote was incorrect. I said that I thought that their price switching was unethical and he said, "I'm sorry you feel that way." This is exactly what gives car salesmen a bad reputation…. so unethical!!! Do not deal with Irvine Acura! In my opinion, they cannot be trusted to conduct an honest transaction!

This dealership and staff are a bunch of crooks and idiots. Especially their manager Billy Adam’s who thinks being disrespectful to customers is acceptable. To them being friendly and helpful ends when the deal is done. All the higher staff is to blame and now the lower people think it is okay to talk to people disrespectfully. This is something I noticed with every interaction I had with them.
