2010 Volvo S80 vs. 2010 Chrysler 300C Review

Comparison Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Chrysler 300C to the dealership as the Volvo S80. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Volvo S80 and the Volvo S80 perform almost similarly as far as fuel economy. The Volvo S80 isn't much more expensive than the Chrysler 300C regarding MSRP.

Utility
The Volvo S80 and the 300C can accommodate the same number of passengers. Towing is substantially more the Volvo's forte than it is the 300C's.

Convenience
The S80's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Chrysler.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the S80 offers a bit more head room than the Chrysler 300C, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Chrysler 300C make it substantially more spacious for your passengers than the Volvo S80.

Dimensions
The 300C is substantially more bulky than the Volvo S80. The Volvo S80's tank is almost the same size as the Chrysler 300C's, though the Chrysler 300C's is a bit larger. The Volvo S80 and the Chrysler 300C compete for the same parking spaces. The Volvo S80's shorter wheelbase will likely give a nimbler feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the Chrysler 300C is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Chrysler 300C packs quite a punch and will knock the Volvo down a few rungs. However, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Volvo and the Chrysler 300C most certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Chrysler 300C's engine is tremendously bigger than the Volvo's. Keep in mind that bigger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Volvo S80 could learn a lesson or two from the 300C in terms of pickup. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Chrysler 300C is tremendously more powerful than the S80.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Chrysler 300C isn't quite as generous as the Volvo S80's.
