Toyota Yaris vs. Toyota Camry Review

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Toyota Camry packs quite a wallop and will knock the Toyota Yaris down a few rungs. On the flip side, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. Both the Toyota Yaris and the Toyota Camry are likely to feel slightly sluggish because of their high horsepower-to-weight ratio.

Handling
Really small tires, like the ones on the Toyota Yaris, may provide better handling in deep snow but might also look a little odd. With its tighter turning circle, the Yaris is doubtless sprier than the Toyota Camry, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

The Toyota Camry is quite a bit heavier than the Yaris. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Toyota Camry than the Toyota Yaris because of its larger tank. The Toyota Yaris and the Toyota Camry compete for the same parking spaces. The Toyota Yaris's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic than the Toyota Camry.

Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Yaris is the winner as far as fuel economy. With respect to fuel economy, the Toyota Yaris beats the Toyota Camry. When it comes to MSRP, the Toyota Yaris costs tremendously less than the Toyota Camry. The Toyota Camry will cost you a bunch of money in gasoline every year compared to the Yaris. The Toyota Yaris will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the Toyota Camry.
