2010 Toyota Tundra Overview
Looking to improve on an already solid truck, Toyota is adding a new and improved engine and two new trims to the rugged-yet-stylish 2010 Toyota Tundra full-size pickup.

Out of the four available engines, the all-new 310-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 six-speed automatic transmission is lighter and more efficient than its predecessor.  The new 4.6-liter engine joins the existing 236-horsepower, 4.0-liter V-6 and both the 381-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 and its E85 FlexFuel brother.  Get maximum traction with either two- or four-wheel drive and choose between three cab styles for maximum volume: Regular Cab, Quad Cab and CrewMax. The 2010 Tundra features two all-new packages: the stripped down entry-level Work Truck package has the essentials, while the upscale Platinum Package is chock-full of luxurious features.   The Tundra has a maximum towing capacity of 10,800 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 1,990 pounds.

One of the more noticeable changes to the 2010 Toyota Tundra is a refreshed front end and a three-bar grille. While the Work Truck caters to the bare-bones industrial crowd and the Platinum Package is for those who wish to keep clean, the two TRD option packages are geared for off-roaders and street enthusiasts.  The TRD Rock warrior offers bigger tires, Bilstein shock absorbers and other exterior enhancements, while the TRD Sport features more interior upgrades.

Interior features include a JBL® 6-disc in-dash CD changer with auxiliary audio jack, 12 speakers, and subwoofer for a superior audio experience. The optional leather-trimmed and heated bucket seats with 10-way power-adjustable driver and 4-way power-adjustable passenger seats make the drive more comfortable. Standard dual zone manual climate control with sync mode will please both front seat occupants with individual controls.  The Platinum Package includes a DVD navigation system and power moonroof.

Standard safety features include a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist to increase stopping power and minimize wheel lockup during hard braking. Vehicle Stability Control with Traction Control helps to maintain control during emergency maneuvers. Standard dual front airbags with front passenger cutoff switch, front seat-mounted side airbags, and front roll-sensing side curtain airbags make the Tundra one of the safest full-size pickups. The Tundra has the highest crash-test rating of any truck in its class, becoming the first full-size pickup to earn a “Top Safety Pick” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Go for luxury, utility and ruggedness with the refreshed and extremely powerful 2010 Toyota Tundra.
