2010 Toyota Sienna
Price Range: $24,540 - $37,865

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Sienna is definitely more maneuverable than the average minivan/van, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The average minivan/van has a more massive engine than the Toyota Sienna. Bear in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The Toyota Sienna could learn a lesson or two from the typical minivan/van as far as pickup.

Utility
Neither the Toyota Sienna nor the average minivan/van has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity. The typical minivan/van is likely a better choice than the Sienna as far as transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of loot or sizeable pets. Towing is substantially more the average minivan/van's forte than it is the Sienna's.

Convenience
You will quite certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Toyota Sienna than with the average minivan/van.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Toyota Sienna offers a bit more head room than the typical minivan/van, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Sienna make it considerably roomier for your passengers than the average minivan/van.

Dimensions
The average minivan/van is significantly heavier than the Toyota Sienna. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the average minivan/van than the Toyota Sienna because of its bigger tank. The Sienna and the average minivan/van compete for the same parking spaces. The Toyota Sienna's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more agile feel in daily traffic than the average minivan/van.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Sienna to the dealership as the typical minivan/van. There frankly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Sienna is a bit more economical than the average minivan/van. The Toyota Sienna won't save you much money at the pump compared to the average minivan/van. The average minivan/van isn't much pricier than the Toyota Sienna in terms of MSRP.

Overview
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota Sienna isn't quite as generous as the typical minivan/van's.
